Springboard+ funded programmes have transformed many careers and lives throughout the years. CCT College Dublin has been involved with the Springboard+ initiative since its inception in 2011, successfully educating hundreds of participants in technology-related programmes from level 6 to level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). This year Springboard+ and the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) Pillar 1 are providing the employed as well as the unemployed and recent graduates the opportunity to obtain qualifications in areas where there are current and future skills shortages.

CCT College Dublin is delighted to announce free and 90% funded programmes in Data Analytics for Business (including a Masters Degree level 9), Networking and Systems Security, and Artificial Intelligence. These programmes, which will all commence again in late January/early February, have a distinct industry focus and have been informed by the College’s existing strategic partnership with Microsoft Ireland, who have a partner network of over 1000 companies across the country.

Data Analytics Courses

For those who already hold a degree and a competence in IT the level 8 Higher Diploma in Data Analytics for Business (view full course info here) will allow graduates convert to this area and to obtain knowledge and skills needed to implement data analysis in businesses undergoing digital transformation.

Graduates of IT and cognate areas with mathematical and technical competence have the opportunity to obtain a level 9 Masters Degree in Data Analytics (view full course info here),

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Courses

Another graduate conversion Higher Diploma programme, is the level 8 Higher Diploma in Artificial Intelligence Applications (view full course info here). This programme gives graduates in IT or areas related to technology the opportunity to upskill or reskill for careers that require knowledge in the different types of accepted AI and its underlying implementation.

Networking Course

The level 7 Diploma in Networking and Systems Security (view full course info here) will provide the course participants with the core knowledge and skills to build technical expertise and specialism within the emerging area of network and systems security.

Key Features of Springboard+ and HCI Funded Courses at CCT College Dublin

• These programmes will be delivered in partnership with Microsoft using CCT and Microsoft expert tutors, drawn from academia and industry.
• Skills based course provision using innovative practical industry aligned integrated assessment. Level 8 programmes are Graduate Conversion Programmes and can be completed in one year.
• Flexible evening and weekend delivery.
• All programmes are validated or undergoing validation from QQI.
• Programmes are 90% funded by Springboard+ and the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) for those in employment and recent graduates or 100% funded for those who are currently unemployed or returning to the workplace (subject to eligibility).

Application for Funded Courses at CCT College Dublin

Application for September will open on Wednesday June 16th via the Springboard Courses Website. Please note that you will be required to submit a new application online for this intake even if you had previously applied for a course through Springboard+.
