A central theme and stream running through all programmes at CCT College Dublin, is the Employability of our graduates. Programmes have been designed and developed in collaboration with industry and professional bodies.
The Mission of CCT is ‘to provide learners with accessible and flexible higher education opportunities, and professional development programmes within the fields of Computing, Information Technology, and Business that reflect current and emerging knowledge and practices relevant to the learner and to employers’. This requires graduates to be proficient in their fields, demonstrating many valuable transversal skills in addition to their discipline specific skill and competencies.
As detailed in the CCT College Dublin Teaching & Learning Strategy 2024-2027, creating global, ethical, industry ready graduates requires development of leading edge transversal skills. With the fast moving pace of business and society, it is imperative that graduates remain agile, reflexive, and responsive.
Priority three in the strategy describes the actions that will produce CCT College Dublin Graduates that are valued in the workplace and society as a result of their advanced and maintained transversal skills.
These valuable and leading edge skills (as evidenced by best practice industry requirements) are embedded in all programmes. They have been developed through a sustainability lens and facilitate development of graduates that are ready for the dynamic and fast moving digital world they will enter.
