Ryanair is to create 200 jobs in Dublin as it develops its digital platform.
The airline said the roles will be in technology, software development and digital marketing. Ryanair previously announced plans in January to add 50 tech-focused jobs in Dublin, but it is understood the 200 roles announced today will be additional jobs created over the coming year.
In addition to creating 500 new jobs for pilots, engineers and cabin crew in 2014, Ryanair will now create a further 200 jobs in its new Dublin offices, to develop its improved Ryanair.com digital platform (which will be released to the public later today) as well as its new mobile app at end June.
The jobs were welcomed by Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
