130 jobs will be created for the construction phase of the new campus in Leopardstown, South County Dublin, near Microsoft’s existing headquarters. Microsoft has been in Ireland for 30 years and the move will bring its 1,200 staff under one roof.
Cathriona Hallahan, managing director Ireland, said the new campus pave the way for further expansion of Microsoft’s workforce here. Microsoft said it has invested about €1bn to date in Ireland, including data centre investments in west Dublin.
