Irish outsourcing firm creates 350 tech jobs

Business technology company Voxpro has announced the creation of 350 new positions at its Cork-based site. The newly created positions will see the workforce at the outsourcing firm increase from 500 to 850 by the end of 2014 in a bid to support the company’s international growth strategy.

Recruitment of the multilingual, technical positions is already underway and the project is supported by Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton, who were in Cork today earlier today for the announcement, welcomed the substantial job creation.

Mr Kenny said that the continued growth of award-winning Voxpro is a “real Irish success story” and “great news for Cork”. “Voxpro is to be commended for winning business abroad to support jobs at home,” he said.

Minister Bruton added that the government’s jobs strategy is “our determination to support a powerful engine of Irish industry”.
