We are delighted to announce that CCT College Dublin students and graduates have received great recognition again at the annual HECA Student Research Awards.
Out of a large number of undergrad and postgrad level student submissions to the expert Judging Panel, two of our BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT students achieved 3rd place this year for their submission on Development of a Deep Learning Model for Synthetic vs. Real Image Classification.
Huge congratulations to Bernardo Gandara and to Ignacio Alarcon Varela for this incredible achievement, both who graduated this year from our BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT.
Also, another BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT student who graduated this year, Rayen Bentemessek, received Special Recognition for their research submission entitled Brain Tumor Classification using Deep Learning: Custom CNN vs. ResNet50. Huge congrats also to Rayen.
