Hear from some recent CCT Graduates

We were delighted to film some recent CCT graduates who generously shared their experience of the programme and of CCT College, plus some of the fantastic professional and personal milestones they have achieved since they finished their studies.  They also had some great words of advice and wisdom for anyone starting out on or returning to their academic journey after a period away from education.

Some of these amazing graduates studied part-time, some full-time, on undergraduate and postgraduate courses including business, computing and IT, data analytics, AI, or networking and systems security.

Janaina Miranda – Higher Diploma in Science in Computing

Janaina graduated from the  Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Science in Computing at CCT College Dublin. She pursued this course to make the move from Journalism to IT and is now working as a Software Automation Engineer for an international company.

Leandro Silveira – BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT

Leandro graduated from the BSc in Computing and IT at CCT College Dublin. He is now working as a Platform Engineer at IBM Ireland.

Sandra Rocha Santana – BA (Hons) in Business

Sandra is pursuing a career in Marketing following successful completion of the BA (Hons) in Business Degree at CCT College Dublin.

Sanjay Shibnauth – Diploma in Networking and Systems Security

Sanjay had no previous background in IT before he completed the Diploma in Networking and Systems Security at CCT via Springboard+. His course project impressed the interview panel and he secured a role in ICT for a Government department.

Thayla Goulart – Bachelor of Business (Hons)

Thayla already had work experience when she decided to go to Ireland to live and study but she credits the up to date course content in the Bachelor of Business Degree at CCT College Dublin and the careers service in the College for assisting in creating opportunities for her professionally here in Ireland

Tiffany Rios –  Bachelor of Business (Hons)

Tiffany studied the Business Degree at CCT College Dublin, which assisted her in obtaining her sales development role for Ergo. She has since completed some IT courses through  her work and also back in CCT which are helping further her knowledge and passion for Data and AI.

Stuart Larner – Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics for Business

Stuart completed the Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics for Business at CCT and is encouraging anyone who might be thinking of looking to upskill in the area of technology and data not to wait. He was especially impressed by the variety of skills he was able to obtain during the relatively short course timeframe, all whilst working full-time. He was also able to benefit from bringing these skills directly into practice in his role with PWC.

Katrine Schubert – Bachelor of Business (Hons)

Katrine went from barely being able to construct an email before she started the Business Degree in CCT College Dublin to writing pages of academic research for her final year project. Not only that but she has just been offered an administrative position in a finance office.

Caue Duarte – BSc (Hons) in Computing and IT

On completion of the Computing and IT Degree at CCT College Dublin Caue was successful in obtaining a graduate IT position which then led him nicely into his current position as a Full Stack Software Engineer with Kantan AI. His advice is to not be afraid of making errors in your work and cover all your basics in programming before advancing to the more complex areas. It clearly works as Caue achieved top marks in his year and was awarded Student of the Year at the 2021 Graduation.
