CCT is delighted to invite the Class of 2019 to their graduation ceremony.
All students eligible to attend graduation will receive an email invitation. Please complete the online registration form to confirm your attendance.
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions. You must wear academic robes (Robe hire details are outlined below) as well as smart personal dress suitable for memorable photographs.
Venue: The Convention Centre Dublin, Spencer Dock, N Wall Quay, North Wall, Dublin 1
Date: Saturday, 23rd November
Ceremony Start Time: 11:45am
Graduands are required to arrive no later than 10:30am to the Convention Centre to allow time for robing.
Robe Hire
Correct academic dress must be worn at graduation.
Phelan Conan Ltd are providing the robe booking service for the day. The cost of hiring a set of robes is €30.
You must pre-book your robe prior to the ceremony, either:
- Online – www.phelanconan.com
Log on and select ‘Student Hire’, select ‘CCT’ and follow the instructions until you receive a reference number. This option is available until 18th November 2019
or
- Post – Forward a bank draft or postal order made out to Phelan Conan Ltd. to No. 44, Fashion City, Ballymount, Dublin 24, for the cost of hire (€30.00) with a completed Pre-Booking Form, available by emailing graduation@cct.ie. When the postal order / bank draft is received you will receive an email with your reference number. This option is available until 18th November 2019.
WHEN BOOKING YOUR ROBES IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU SELECT THE CORRECT FACULTY AND

Please note that the wearing of Mortar boards is optional for Male and Female graduands.
The robes you hire are to be collected on the morning of the ceremony in the Convention Centre. Robes will available from 10.00. Early collection is recommended.
Before leaving please return your robes.
Refreshments after ceremony:
Refreshments will be provided at The Convention Centre following the ceremony.
Photographer:
Lafayette Photography will be on site before and after the ceremony to allow for any students who wish to have photos taken. Online booking can be done on www.lafayette.ie and a full range of packs and prices are available to view.
Guest Tickets:
Each graduand is permitted to bring 3 guests; all guests must have a ticket. Guest tickets are available for collection from the Main Office from Monday, 14th October until Friday, 15th November 2019, after this guest tickets will be reallocated. Should you require additional tickets, please send an email to graduation@cct.ie, we cannot guarantee additional tickets will be available. This is strictly a ticketed event; guest arriving without tickets will not be permitted to enter.
Children
CCT does not encourage the attendance of young children at the graduation ceremony, where young children do attend; they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. In the instance of a child not remaining silent and in their seat, as is required as part of the ceremonial protocol, the accompanying adult will be required to leave the ceremony hall with the child.
Car Parking:
Car Parking is available in the grounds of the Convention Centre Dublin.
In Absentia:
Should you be unable to attend graduation you will be conferred in absentia and parchments will be available for collection in the Main Office in CCT from Monday, 25th November 2019
