GenAI in Teaching, Learning and Assessment – The 3rd in CCT College Dublin’s ‘Ideas to Action’ Conference Series

Final registrations are now being taken for the third iteration in CCT College Dublin’s ‘From Ideas to Action’ conference series. The 2026 Conference will be entitled ‘GenAI in Teaching, Learning and Assessment: From Ideas to Action’.
This full day event will be held on Thursday 3rd September at the College Green Hotel, next door to CCT College Dublin, on Westmoreland Street.
The aim of this conference, fully sponsored by CCT College Dublin, will focus on how institutions, educators and students can engage with the evolving role of AI in education in ways that are pedagogically meaningful, ethically grounded and aligned with academic integrity.
Rather than positioning AI solely as a challenge, the conference foregrounds practice. Through case studies and shared experiences, contributors will examine how GenAI is being used in classrooms, how institutions are responding through policy and culture, and how staff and students are developing AI literacy.
The event offers space to critically reflect on what is working, what is emerging, and what may need to change. Participants will leave with practical insights, grounded examples and a clearer sense of how to navigate GenAI in the coming academic year.
This conference is for educators, academic developers, institutional leaders and students across higher education who are engaging with GenAI in their practice or institution — whether confidently, cautiously, or somewhere in between.
