CCT Represented on National Forum for Teaching and Learning

CCT’s own Dr. Brett Becker (Head of ICT Faculty) and Graham Glanville (Head of ICT Programmes) have proudly been appointed to represent CCT on the National Forum for the Enhancement on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. This is a key development in Higher Education throughout Ireland, but particularly for private colleges, as the first time that HECA colleges like CCT will have their say on shaping educational policy and agenda alongside the Universities and IoTs. This representation ensures that students at private colleges like CCT have their educational best interests looked after, not only by their respective institutions, but on a national quality enhancement level as well.

About the Forum:

The National Forum for the Enhancement on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education has been established by the Minister for Education and Skills in order to enhance the quality of the learning experience for all students at third level, be they full-time, part-time or flexible learners.

The Forum calls together all of those involved in shaping third-level teaching and learning in Ireland in order to support and develop excellent practices in teaching and learning already underway in many of our colleges.

The National Forum will engage with leaders, managers and teachers across all institutes of education at third level in Ireland.

In doing so, the National Forum will mobilise expertise and inputs from across the entire sector to shape best practice in all of our institutes of education.
