CCT was proud to serve on Quality and Qualifications Ireland’s Expert Group, set up to review new IT awards at NFQ Levels 5 and 6.
These new awards are to replace the current ones, and designed to be suitable for use within the Common Awards System. These new awards have been designed to meet the current and expected future (next five years) needs of both learners and employers. Particularly, learners will benefit from increased flexibility in attaining updated and industry-attractive awards.
The draft award specifications are now in a phase of public consultation. After this phase, public comment and suggestion will be taken into account in publishing the final awards. More details may be found at the following link:
