CCT College Dublin to Host Satellite Event for IFLA’s World Library Congress 2022

CCT College Dublin is delighted to host the satellite event of IFLA’s School Libraries Section for IFLA’s World Library Congress 2022 on the 23rd July, 2022. This day long conference and workshop will centre around the the theme ‘Global Action for School Libraries on Models of Inquiry in the Digital Age’ and will provide a comprehensive overview of research underpinning the models of inquiry, why they are important in teaching and learning, the roots of this instructional model chosen, it’s strengths and how it has been disseminated within the sector. CCT College is a member of the Library Association of Ireland’s Council, Library Publishing Group and National Organising Committee for IFLA’s World Library Congress 2022. CCT College is also a member of the judging committee of the Library Association of Ireland’s National Library Champion Award. In February 2020, Marie O’Neill of CCT College Dublin was selected to speak at the mid-term meeting of IFLA’s Library Publishing Group at Oslomet and remains an active participant in this group’s activities.
