Course Audience
Professionals familiar with Graphics software needing to get to grips with a powerful web design tool. Strong Windows skills are assumed but no previous web skills required.

The demand for powerful yet reliable websites is increasing rapidly. People possessing these skills are in greater demand.
The course takes users from building basic web sites - working with text, paragraphs and tables to building powerful websites using style sheets and layers, templates and libraries.
Course Content
Overview of DreamWeaver Properties
HTML inspector, object palettes
Building basic web pages Opening and saving HTML files, colours and page properties
Working with text fonts, colours, styles
Paragraphs and layouts Alignment, lists, headings
Working with images
Placing images, image properties, image formats Rollovers Fill-in forms
Creating a form, adding form objects, names and values
Style sheets
Inheriting styles
Page attributes
List attributes
Border attributes
Layers and positioning
Moving, resizing, preferences
Working with links and URLs
Relative & absolute links
Working with tables
Course Objectives
On completion of the course students will feel comfortable designing and creating creative and powerful web pages using DreamWeaver. These WebPages will incorporate interactive forms and embedded objects.
