Vodafone creates 200 jobs in Dublin as part of €60m investment

Two hundred permanent jobs will be created with Vodafone Ireland as part of a €60 million investment in a new European sales centre in Dublin.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny made the announcment in the Vodafone Ireland’s headquarters in Leopardstown this morning.

Mr Kenny said the new offices represented a commitment by Vodafone in Ireland and said the jobs highlighted Ireland’s attractiveness as a location with a talented and skilled work force.

“We have many challenges up ahead but here is another good news story,” Mr Kenny said.

The European sales centre in Carrickmines will support business customers in Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands with two additional support hubs located in central and southern Europe.

The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and IDA Ireland.
