An article in the Irish Independent has revealed that a survey by Deloitte shows business students favour software and computing jobs over banking. A quarter of respondents said the software sector was their preferred option, while 14% said they favoured banking.

The sector’s lead is more pronounced in Ireland than anywhere else in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, according to the survey.
